Evelyn Ng Remains in Contention for the Aruba Poker Classic

On October 5th, 2007, the second day of the 2007 Aruba poker tournament Classic is already taking place at the Aruba Radisson Resort and poker player Evelyn Ng is in the playing field looking to be one of the players remaining by the end of the 2nd day.

There are still 246 participants left in the tournament after two rounds of Day one and all remaining players will be combined into one area in Day two. Current leader, Tony Pitaoulis will be joined by poker player Jose "papadelpoker" De La Guardia, Robert Williamson III, world series of poker Europe champion Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad, Joe Reitman, mike matusow, john cernuto, Freddy Deeb and JJ Liu.

David Williams, John Turner, Shannon Shorr and Jim Worth did not last the day. The next tournament for Williams will be at the wpt Spanish Championship in Barcelona.

The plan for the day is to reduce the number of players up to thirty-six players on the 2nd day. Players can participate in tournaments in Aruba and Barcelona by winning the "Player's Choice" package offered by Bodog.

The winner can receive a slot at any major poker tournament with a $10,000 buy-in cost plus some extras. The qualifiers start with a minimum of $1.
