David Oppenheim and Gavin Smith Join Poker After Dark

On January 5th, 2008, david oppenheim and gavin smith will make their initial appearance on Poker After Dark as the poker show goes on with new players. David Oppenheim has been playing in the circuit for about fifteen years now and is considered to be one of the best limit high stakes poker players all over the world.

He has not made any sensational breakthrough in the circuit yet, with his best poker finishes 3rd place in the 2007 world series of poker event and another 3rd place finished at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in 2003. Both Oppenheim and Smith will be joined at the poker tables by Doyle Brunson, phil ivey, daniel negreanu and erick lindgren.

The press release for the show said that the week's match at Poker After Dark by NBC is sure to get the attention of poker fans all over the world especially those people that love golf. There will be some fierce poker competition that will be played on the table as the players compete for the $120,000 cash prize.

Phil Ivey has already won two times in the show, while Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu each won a title. Erick Lindgren is the only one that has not won any title among the players in the show.
