Richard Lee Charged With Illegal Gaming

On October 6th, 2007, he won a lot of cash at the world series of poker, but now San Antonio's most recognizable poker player is facing serious allegations of illegal gaming.

San Antonio police officers confirmed that the District Attorney filed a lawsuit against poker player Richard Lee for being a part of illegal gambling in the area. Lee won most of his money from playing poker. He bought a large home located in Shavano Park, then he incurred a loss.

The police officers froze his money on the bank and confiscated his cards, saying he was one of the bookmakers in the area. When Lee was asked about the allegations against him back in 2006, he vehemently denied the allegations.

The police officer did not believe Lee's explanation, investigating Lee's gaming activities. The officers said that Lee has been charged with promoting gaming. Lee was again questioned whether he was an online bookmaker.

He reiterated his denial that he is involved in any crime especially illegal gambling. Lee has not been arrested by the police officers, only charged with illegal gambling by the San Antonio police officers.
