Poker Player Billy Kopp Signs With Ultimate Bet

2009 world series of poker Main Event 12th place finisher Billy Kopp was signed by Ultimate Bet on August 17th, 2009. A student at the University of Kentucky, Kopp has earned more than $2.6 million over the past few years in participating in both online and live poker events.

Kopp finished runner-up in a preliminary event at the Harrah's New Orleans WSOPC stop and won a total of $127,832 and managed an eight place finish in a $5K No Limit Holdem at the 2009 World Series of Poker before finishing in 12th place in the 2009 Main Event for $896,730.

Along the way, Kopp sent home 2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate and 2005 champion joe hachem. Kopp also amassed 8 top ten finishes in major online poker events in 2009.
