NBC and the 5000ft Organization Developed the National Heads-Up Poker Video Game

On April 3, 2007, NBC Sports, the main creators of the very successful NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship, announced the launch of the video game adaptation of their very popular poker tournament. The game was created with the help of game experts from 5000ft Incorporated from Reno, Nevada.

The National Heads-Up Poker Tournament game will be officially launched on April 7, 2007. The National Heads-Up Poker Tournament has 64 poker players competing for the $1.5 million cash prize in heads-up matches. The poker tournament this year was held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from March 2-4, 2007.

The tournament will be shown on NBC on 7 consecutive Sundays starting April 8th. The 5000ft Inc. group is operated by 2 gambling industry giants and has been the main proponent of dozens of gambling games over the last 16 years. The National Heads-Up poker game is modeled carefully with the real thing making it a very good 3D video game.
