Digital Gaming Network Acquires Poker Software Firm Dobrosoft

Digital Gaming Network has acquired the assets of Gibraltar-based poker software firm, Dobrosoft.

Owners of Dobrosoft are set to transfer management over to the new DGN management team within the next 90 days. Some of Dobrosoft's existing workers will be retained by the new management, specifically the rank and file software staff.

DGN has already made an aggressive bid to strengthen the company by hiring several online poker industry executives and IT managers. However, the terms of sale were not disclosed.

According to Vinko Dobrosevic, CEO and Transitioning Founder of Dobrosoft, "The company looks forward to having the additional resources and expertise that DGN can bring to the table to help the company grow in ways that can fulfill its longtime potential".

Dobrosevic further stated, "I am pleased to announce the sale to Digital Gaming Network. The new company will have the talent and experience to launch a new era for itself and its employees. Industry insiders will be taking notice very soon."

As Nicole Sims, DGN's spokesperson stated, "Dobrosoft's core software platform and untapped market potential is a cornerstone of our efforts in creating a leading alternative to existing multi-player software networks".

Furthermore, Sims explained, "We have already invested heavily in operational infrastructure and upgrades to the products scalability. We will be working diligently to continue to build on this base and to take the product to a whole new level."
