David Singer

David Singer is one of the best current day poker players to come out of New York. After taking up the game in 1996 he began while playing 7 Card Stud at Foxwoods and other private games in the Tri-State area.

A consistent player he has had good results without ever winning the big one. He finished ninth at the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event and followed that up with sixth at the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open. At the 2006 WSOP, Singer claimed sixth spot in the $50K H.O.R.S.E. event.

Before he was a poker player, Singer was a lawyer and it is these analytical skills which have served him well in the game earning him around $2 million.

When not playing poker, he loves to be outside, bird watching and fishing. David Singer also holds two world fishing titles.
