Caesars Palace to Host the First Event in the 2010 World Series of Poker Schedule

The first event of the WSOP (world series of poker) schedule will start on April 14th, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first one to take place at the Caesars Palace Circuit stop will be a $230 no-limit hold'em event and it kicks off seventeen days of tournament action and nineteen poker tournaments.

Games spread will feature limit and no-limit hold'em together with pot-limit Omaha. There will also be three double stack no-limit hold'em events and a ladies no-limit hold'em poker event.

The $5,000 no-limit hold'em championship will begin on April 27th, 2010 and it will crown a winner on April 30th, 2010. There will be $550 mega satellites for the championship event that will take place on April 25th, 2010 at 12:00 noon and on April 26th, 2010 at 12:00 noon, 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

There will be a single $340 mega satellite on April 26th, 2010 that starts at 3:00 p.m. Players will start with 25,000 in total chips in the event and the blind levels will be seventy-five minutes long and then increase to ninety minutes once players reached the money.
