Bodog Poker Gives Away 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event Slots

A 2009 world series of poker Main Event champion has yet to be crowned but that has not hold back Bodog poker from giving away a slot to the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. The Bodog Mini Poker Series finished up on July 30th, 2009, giving out a prize package that includes the $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event buy-in for next summer.

Poker player John "Getn_Outa_MI" Ormsby finished up the thirteen-event series with a win in the eighty-two person final event. Ormsby said that the chance of winning a slot in next year's WSOP Main Event was the main reason he was interested in participating in the Bodog Mini Poker Series.

Ormsby said that he have always wanted to go to Las Vegas to participate in the World Series of Poker but have never had the opportunity. He added that the Bodog Mini Series provided him with the golden opportunity to do so.

With the Bodog Mini Poker Series finished, the Bodog.com Poker room now turns it attention to the Bodog Flight Club, which gives players prize packages to major poker events all over the world including the EPT (European Poker Tour), WPT (world poker tour) and Latin American Poker Tour.
