Barny Boatman - "The Humor"

Barny Boatman a.k.a. "The Humor" straight from Summerstown, England is the oldest member of the veteran group called The Hendon Mob along with his brother Ross Boatman. "The Humor" is known as the "Voice of Poker" given that he was one of the initiators of poker games on television. He has hosted many televised poker tournaments such as Celebrity Poker Club, The World Heads Up, Late Night Poker, Poker Million the Masters, and The Poker Nations Cup just to name a few.

Starting out as a Seven-Card Stud player, Boatman was Europe's top-ranked player in 1999. He was Britain's top finisher in the WSOP Main Event in both 2000 and 2001 as well as topping the charts in the European Omaha rankings those same years.

In 2002, Barny Boatman skyrocketed new records by reaching three WSOP final tables in a row, earning him the award for outstanding tournament performance of the year. He was also the winner of the 2002 European Championship Seven-Card Stud poker event.

Recent years he has come close so many times, reaching final tables at the European Open, the British Open, the Master Classics, the Irish Championships, and The Poker Million.

Current earnings from poker tournaments to date are over $1,000,000.
