Trump Plaza Offers 12 Brand New Automated Casino Poker Tables

On August 12th, 2008, the normal scene of poker rooms crammed with tables full of cards and chips would not be changing anytime soon but poker enthusiasts will have a brand new alternative when they want to participate in a poker game. The Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, which can be found just off the Boardwalk, will now offer 12 new automated poker tables where the cards are given and the whole game play is executed automatically.

The tables possess the same features like the traditional poker tables except players can see their cards on small screens and the flop and cash pot size are shown in the middle of the table. Jim Rigot, the general manager said that the poker room at the Trump Plaza will be the latest location for poker enthusiasts to enjoy in Atlantic City, just a few steps from the Boardwalk. Rigot added that when you will really consider the improved number of poker card hands per hour and a $3 rake, it becomes an appropriate choice for even the most top poker players.

One of the main advantages of the new automated poker tables is that the whole game play is much faster because there will be no lag time of the poker dealer mixing up the cards, counting wagers counting the cash pot size. Everything is accomplished electronically and shown clearly to players.

Chris Halligan, the Chief Executive Officer of PokerTek said that they are very proud to enter their field trial in New Jersey with Trump Plaza and they are looking forward to featuring the speed, pinpoint accuracy and interesting brand new features of their automated poker to poker enthusiasts in Atlantic City.

A lot of people are expecting that the brand new automated poker tables will attract a lot of poker players because it will present them a brand new experience compared with the traditional poker table.
