Third Year of the Off the Strip Poker Tournament

Vince Neil has been a major figure on charity poker events for the past years, making an appearance in support of a lot of noteworthy causes. Once a year, the singer from the band Motley Crue petitions poker player to support a charity cause that is important to him.

Neil just recently publicly announced for the third year of the "Off the Strip" poker that will be held at the Joint at the Hard Rock Casino facility in Las Vegas on November 3rd, 2007. The first two "Off the Strip" tournaments featured poker players from entertainers to adult video stars playing for a good cause.

The previous two events have been successful; the 1st tournament earned about $170,000 and the 2nd tournament easily surpassed the donations earned by the tournament. The tournament has an intriguing twist with the prize rewards.

There is a guaranteed $50,000 money pool, which will be from the buy-in costs and the re-buys. Players that will make the final table of the tournament will take home some money. The tournament has a $500 buy-in cost together with a $50 fee and offers re-buys and add-ons for the first round of the tournament.

The tournament is only limited at 150 players. There will be also a charity auction that will be hosted by sexy entertainers from the adult video industry. All of the profits will benefit the Skylar Neil and TJ Martell Foundations. Players that are interested to participate in the event can inquire at the box office at the Joint or log-in on the skylarneil.org.
