Stewart Scott Prepares to Defend his title at the 2010 Aussie Millions

It has been a year since Stewart Scott walked into the Crown Casino in Melbourne an unknown turned poker enthusiasts from Adelaide and walked away with the 2009 Aussie Millions title. But being $2 million AUD richer is not the only thing different for Scott.

In fact, his whole life has changed completely. Scott said on January 22nd, 2010 that coming to a place like the Crown Casino or any casino facility in Australia, everybody always recognizes him. He added that he was always asked for autographs, which is very cool. Scott said that going back to the Crown Casino to defend his title is very different from when he is a relative unknown in 2009.

Since winning the Aussie Millions, Scott has also picked up a sponsorship agreement with PartyPoker and has been representing the poker brand at big-time poker tournaments all over the world in the past twelve months, including achieving a six-figure win when he made the final table of a $5,000 prelim at the world poker tour (WPT) Championship in Las Vegas in April 2009.

Add that experience to his 2009 Aussie Millions win and he feels like he is coming into the 2010 Aussie Millions prepared and ready. Scott said that he hopes to do his best in the tournament. He added that he understands that the tournament cannot be won on Day 1 and said that he is focused and prepared to execute his game plan patiently.
