Steve Brecher

Steve Brecher, or better known as "Brec" is a professional poker player who has made several noted final table appearances at the World Poker Tour tournaments.

Currently residing in Palo Alto, California Brecher likes to hike, cross-country ski, act, and was a former computer software developer, all this beyond being a poker player. All these things only serve as advantages to his game since the hiking gives him the endurance and determination, cross-country skiing nurtures his patience, and acting, well that is a given.

Major Poker accomplishments achieved by Brecher are third place in 2005 United States Poker Championship, 2004 Bellagio Five-Star World Poker Classic/WPT Championship tournament where he finished sixth and earned $232,862. He has finished in the money six times in World Poker Tour events and sixth place in the 2004 World Poker Tour Championship. Out of five Professional Poker Tour tournaments "Brec" has finished in eleventh place once and ninth place twice.

His current tournament earnings to date are about $660,000.
