PartyGaming Signs Deal with WPT Enterprises Inc.

On December 8th, world poker tour (WPT) Enterprises Inc. announced that it has finalized an agreement with PartyGaming Plc, the owner of PartyPoker.com.

Under the terms of their agreement, PartyGaming will be providing international television sponsorship to the World poker Tour and the Professional Poker Tour. Included in their deal are shows produced under WPT seasons IV, V, VI and PPT seasons I, II, and III.

The cooperation between the 2 gaming companies will help strengthen the WPT brand by utilizing PartyGaming's wide marketing resources. The deal will also provide WPT with extensive promotional opportunities, as well as represent a new revenue stream for WPT Enterprises.

In exchange, PartyPoker.com will get an exclusive in-show branding through its association with one of the leading brands in televised poker.

The financial details of the agreement depend upon the number of international territories included, the number of branded integrations per episode, and the number of episodes aired.
