Nevada Commission Approves Royal Holdem Poker

On May 31st, 2008, although it would not be an event at the world series of poker, a very popular example of the limit Texas Hold'em poker game called Royal Holdem has been recently given the go signal by the Nevada Gaming Commission for play in Nevada casino facilities, effective immediately.

The Royal Hold'em poker variation is played without the deuces through nines, which only leaves the ten cards, jack cards, queen cards, king cards and ace cards. Because there are only twenty cards remaining in the card deck, the Royal Hold'em poker variation can only be enjoyed by six players.

With five community cards, three burn cards and two pocket cards per player, a gaming table that can host six players will utilized all of the twenty cards in the deck of cards. The poker technique for Royal Holdem is different from other variations of poker since the probability of certain card hands are greatly improved, which in turn could improved the betting in the game.

This, together with the larger number of hands that are played in an hour, should satisfy players that want to get more action as well as the financial departments at the casino facilities.
