Little Ones Stud Poker

Little Ones Stud Overview

Little Ones Stud, also called Low Hole, is a variant of Seven Card Stud in which the lowest card that’s dealt face down to each player is wild. This means that every player has a wild card. Three to seven players can play.

Little Ones Stud Rules

Before the deal, players ante up. To do this, they put a small sum of money in the pot. Then the dealer gives each player three cards. The first two are dealt facedown, while the third one faces up. The first round of betting begins, usually beginning with the player with the highest value upcard and moving clockwise around the table.

During the betting round, players can choose to stay in or they can opt to fold, quitting the game and relinquishing any rights to the pot. If they choose to stay in, they can call, meaning that they only match the amount currently being bet. If they wish, they can also raise the bet, forcing any player who wishes to stay in to match a higher amount.

When the betting round is over, the dealer gives each player cards number 4, 5, and 6 face up. After each card, there is a betting round. The seventh card is given out face down, and it is followed by one more betting round and then the showdown. Each player shows their cards. The lowest card that is face down is wild for each player. The player with the best poker hand wins the pot.
