Lipscombe and Pollack to Address World Poker Congress

The main organizers of the World poker Congress (WPC) scheduled on November 29th, 2007 to November 30th, 2007 in Malta have said that the president of the wpt Steve Lipscomb and the commissioner of the wsop, Jeffrey Pollack will deliver a joint address to the Congress.

The two poker leaders, who manage two rival poker organizations, will discuss the current situation of poker and what lies ahead.

Sue Schneider, the president of River City Group said that Lipscomb and Pollack are the two individuals responsible for the growth of Poker despite the odds. Steve Lipscomb is an award winning film and television producer.

His recent endeavors include the PPT, or the Professional Players Tour, the International expansion of WPT and others. Jeffrey Pollack is the first commissioner of the WSOP and has improved the event enormously.

Pollack is also the founder of Sports Business Daily. The World Poker Congress (WPC) is in a good position to study the relationship between land-based and online casino games.

Participants will tackle issues like marketing, player development, different laws affecting poker and the poker situation in Europe.

Aside from that, the forum will also discuss holding poker tournaments, attracting more players to play poker and security measures.
