Las Vegas Casinos to Offer Poker Players Special Discounts for Summer Tournaments

As of June 2007, Las Vegas will host poker players from different parts of the world that will join the different poker tournaments on the strip in the succeeding months.

A lot of casinos have already prepared some accommodations with different facilities for the players. The Rio Hotel and Casino, which is the location of the 2007 WSOP, offers affordable room rates to those who will participate in any of the events at the tournament.

Most casinos in Las Vegas book the participants for the average room rates and then give them a discount. The Rio Casino gives an entry rate of $139 on weekdays and $279 on weekends.

Aside from the WSOP tournament, the WPT event, the Bellagio Cup III will take place on June 11 - July 15, 2007. The Bellagio Casino is currently offering rates for their players.

The rate varies, but at the main event of the game of poker, for a $10,000 buy-in cost, participants can stay at the Bellagio for $149 during the week and $219 during the weekend. They just need to show an event entry to the Bellagio.

Other tournaments that will be also held in Las Vegas include the Venetian's Deep Stack Extravaganza from June 1 - July 1, 2007 and features many smaller buy-in tournaments.

From June 1 - July 17, 2007, the rooms at the Venetian will cost around $119 from Sunday to Thursday and $189 on Saturday and Sunday for the players who will participate 6 hours of cash game per day or for those who are participating in the event.

Caesars Palace may not be hosting a tournament, but they are offering discounts for players that will participate in these events. A standard hotel room costs $400 or less. The price is at $139 from Sunday to Thursday. The price of the rooms is $229 on Saturday and Sunday for anyone participating in the live cash tournaments.
