Keith Sexton

Keith Sexton is one of the world's best 7 Card Stud poker professionals in this generation. He was born in Dayton, Ohio where he began his poker years at the mere age of 14.

During his high school years he became his parents' frequent dealer at their home games. Sexton is a home builder and plays with real estate. He moved to Las Vegas with his wife and three boys, right before the big boom in the Vegas housing market making him huge profits.

Now with a hefty bankroll, Sexton was able to play poker professionally and right away proved his skill in the 1990 World Series of Poker Seven Card Stud event where he placed second and walked away with $105,000. After 20 years of playing Seven Card Stud he started to learn how to play Texas Hold'em. In 1996, Sexton was already finishing in the money at the WSOP and World Poker Tour tournaments of Limit and No Hold'em.

2005 found Sexton placing sixth in the $10,000 WSOP Circuit Championship Event of the No Limit Hold'em and then in the WSOP Tournament of Champions he made a final table appearance leaving with an eighth place title. But it wasn't until the Seven Card Stud event of the World Series of Poker 2005 when he finished in second where he carried off $162,430.

Keith Sexton's two boys are taking after their old man and Paul has already placed fifth in the $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament at the WSOP. Sexton also loves to be outdoors keeping fit by playing basketball or tennis.

His accumulated live tournament earnings to date are around $500,000.
