John D'Agostino has only been playing live and online high stake poker games since he was twenty, but that was only in 2003. Joining the poker scene from Seymour, Connecticut, this young gun has substantiated his spot with the legends with only a four-year career under his belt.

Known by his peers as "JDags," John D'Agostino is a Hold'em high stakes and cash-game specialist. In his brief profession as a poker player, he has already managed to reach four final tables at the World Poker Tour tournaments. In 2004 he placed fifth in the $7,500 No Limit Hold'em PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure marking the beginning of his calling. Then in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship Poker at Turning Stone he left with a cool $250,000. In Atlantic City, the $9,700 No Limit Hold'em - United States Poker Championship Main Event "JDags" concluded in sixth at the final table.

2005 Borgata Poker Open No-Limit Hold'em Championship is where D'Agostino finished in fourth place earning $349,685, but four months later at the Borgata Winter Open he landed second after Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi taking home $591,312.
