High Stakes Poker marathon

High Stakes Poker is set for a special four-show marathon on Monday, November 13th from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. ET. The marathon showing of GSN's exclusive cash poker game series is sponsored by Casino Royale, the latest installation in the 007 series from Columbia Pictures and MGM.

The show will be featuring interviews with the actors from the movie and behind the scenes footages from the production of the movie.

James Bond is being played by the dashing Daniel Craig, as a secret service agent for Her Majesty. The book is based on the very first Bond book written by its author Ian Fleming. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres November 17th.

One of the highlights of the film is when Bond played a high stakes game against the villain Le Chiffre, banker to the world's most notorious terrorists. In a move to stop him, Bond engages Le Chiffre in a game of high-stakes poker at Casino Royale.

GSN's own High Stakes Poker could very well have been their arena, as it is known to be the only poker show on television that features a $100,000 minimum buy-in. Most of the players in High Stakes Poker are gambling hundreds of thousands of their own money.

High Stakes Poker airs Monday nights from 8-9 p.m. ET. The third season of the series is set to premiere January on GSN.
