Fox Poker Club Applies For More Licenses

The Fox Poker Club forwarded more applications to the Gambling Commission for Certificates of Consent for sites around London and other locations in the United Kingdon. Fox Poker Club is likewise seeking the standard planning permissions from local authorities.

The new applications brings to four the number of applications that the Fox Poker Club has submitted to the Gambling Commission. At first, the original site was turned down, but now the Fox management is exploring all its options to ensure that the projects move forward.

Should the Certificates of Consent be issued, Fox Poker Club can likewise apply for casino licenses which will have the restriction of only offering card room games of equal chance for the venues.

"This is the only legal way we can run a dedicated Poker Club for fellow poker enthusiasts on a sound commercial footing," said Chris North, one of the founders of Fox Poker Club.

While waiting for the decision however, The Fox Poker Club website will be re-launched in August. The site will give players the avenue to pre-register membership. The site will also give regular updates on how the applications are proceeding.

Moreover, an online poker room will run live tournaments to qualify for a live game to be held at the Fox Club. Five winners at this event will get VIP Life Memberships.
