Do you guys use any special questions or comments that will give you information on where your opponents is at. For example when you're involved in a big hand (you have to call a big bet or an all in)
I will ask how much the person has left while at the same time counting out my chips and glancing at him as I’m doing it to see his reaction or what he says, listen to his voice, watch the eyes. I mainly need this for when my opponent is bluffing because I can usually tell strength by betting patterns but I can't spot weakness. |

I usually start talking about the pre-flop betting, or arguing why he had to raise it, and they usually send me the message that they can cause of their stack, or they usually break out of frame and unknowingly state they have a good hand.
If you are hesitant your hand is not really stable. Like calling when you have the button. That's a reader call. You have something, but you don't really know for sure. Or, you could have crap by limping on the button, and you just want to see the cards. I think it's all about body language and eye readings. |
