Default How long until starting to play for real money?

Hi, guys! I am a beginner in the poker game, I play online poker for some time already, only Texas Holdem, and for play money only! I have won some mini Sit&Go play money tournaments, for example with a field of 18 players, but that's all, and it is nothing special, I know.

Can somebody tell me when I should start to play for real money, have anybody experienced this? And how long did it took you to start playing online poker for real money? Thanks in advance!

Bryan Nelson

Well Party I found that playing for fun was starting to ruin my game as I began to have no respect for the cards being dealt.I mean why fold at the turn when it doesnt really cost anything to call.

If you are asking the question then its time and if you want a suggestion of a good room to start with , post back and i'll tell you what I did...

looks like you are ready to start dude, go for it by just putting a minimum amount on your preffered site, or (and no im not a vc poker affiliate) download vc poker and when you set up a real money account (no money needed to set it up, just your details) got o the cashier section when its all validated and then go to the promotions section and in the promo box type freecashdec all one word and you will within 3 days receive $10 free and you can go to the smaller cash tables / smaller tournys and try your hand there

Well I have played at VC and I wouldnt recommend you starting there at all.Its software is rubbish and there are much better rooms out there.

I would suggest a smaller room from a good network where they really look after their players because they have to.

I received a deposit package offer yesterday from Fair Poker which runs on the ipoker network telling me that if I deposit I get invited to 3 different freerolls and get a bonus of $500 plus a token to a sit'n'go jackpot.I checked it out and deposited myself last night and so far so good.

They have 1 c and 2 c tables for you to start at I would recomend you write to their support and ask what deals are going for new depositors. Also, they take deposits of $10 so that helps as well.

Let me know how you get on

We actually promote Fair Poker here in PokerTeam.com and are about to promote several other poker rooms as well.

If you want, here is our review about fair poker (with promotion details):
