Yes, in my opinion thats the way of playing poker. when you play in an aggressive way you make people pay for the information, also your bluff may became more effective if you play tight. but only experienced players can play this way I think because it requires a lot of reading skills, learning the right moments to fold and also right betting otherwise you might end up committed to a pot with some marginal hand.
