You know I gotta say this. When I started out, which took me 2 1/2 days, I was a nervous wreck at the table. Then more and more down the road it was like, pshhhh this is soooo easy.

I say like this.

When you do a buy in to gain more money, it is so easy to really gain control of the game.

Heres what you need to do.

When you start a buy in game say for like 5oo and the winnings are so high, when your own chips are high you wanna really see how everyone else plays. If you have a good hand, like say face cards and ten, you can play it. I usually have good feelings about hands and they don't let me down. Go ahead and play that hand.

Now, so what if the money goes up. Some people like to out other players into putting their chips in pre-flop, just to put the pot up.

Go along for the ride, at least until the flop shows. Now, if you have a good stretch, play until you figure the board has got you beat and another player will win. Make sure you check players out and how they play. That's really important.

Some people play tight so they can let other people fall. But it doesn't work all the time.

If you have a good hand, and you've been playing for a good while at the moment, try showing some balls and anty up large. It can push other players out, and you could have a higher chance of getting that pot.

Bet low at first, let the other players raise, this way they don't figure you for a good hand, and then once they raise, and you are sure your hand is explosive, go ahead and re-raise. You could end up with the nuts.
