David Chiu a four time winning World Series of Poker tournament bracelet is considered one of the best Hold'em competitors in the World.

Originally from China, Chiu as a child would swim quite often and the water damaged his eardrums reducing his hearing by 35%. Chiu was determined to turn this weakness into an advantage in poker games and in life. While working as a poker dealer at the Gilpin Hotel in Black Hawk, Chiu would observe the players reaction to their cards.

In 1996's $2,000 Limit Hold'em David Chiu was victorious receiving his first World Series of Poker bracelet. Then, in 1998's WSOP $3,000 Limit Hold'em he was yet again the winner adding bracelet number two. Two years later, year 2000, the $5,000 Seven Card Stud was when he attained his third bracelet and 2005 $5,000 Omaha Hi/Lo his fourth.

Chui has many other poker accomplishments besides WSOP bracelets. For instance, Atlantic City - 1996 United States Poker Championship No Limit Hold'em, 1997 $500 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo in California State Poker Championship, and 1998 Limit Hold'em L.A. Poker Classic. He has many in the money finishes in the WPT as well as final table appearances in the WSOP.

This competitive pro admits to playing for fun sometimes, "If I am betting $1,000 or $2,000, then I'm playing for fun. If the hand is for $100 or $200, I might not even look at my cards."

Around $2.3 million is presently David Chiu's tournament earnings.
