Daniel Negreanu May End Endorsement Deal with Full Contact Poker

On May 1, 2007, Daniel Negreanu, former owner and endorser of Full Contact Poker, is looking for another investment and endorsement opportunity now that his contract with Full Contact Poker is nearing its expiration date, according to the Public Relations Company representing him.

Brian Balsbaugh, the CEO of Poker Royalty, Negreanu's management company, stated that Full Contact Poker's reluctance to renegotiate Daniel Negreanu's contract is similar to Absolute Poker's decision earlier this year to cancel all of their endorsement agreements with poker players and simply find different ways to advertise their company.

Previously, Daniel Negreanu refused to endorse any other poker sites, choosing to remain with Full Contact Poker. Negreanu interacts with other poker players on the site and regularly updates his written blog as well as his video blog.

A poker player of Negreanu's caliber and with his media power is sure to attract the consideration of the who's who in the world of poker. Daniel Negreanu is also one of the consistent and top poker players currently competing in the poker circuit against other top players. Balsbaugh said that they have not made any final decisions at the moment.
