CompatiblePoker Committed To Giving Online Poker Updates To US Players

Updates on the status of the online poker industry in the USA are continually being posted on CompatiblePoker.com to inform American poker players of changes.

The number of US accepted poker sites might have gone down but the demand for online poker in the US remains as strong as ever. Though some of the big names in online poker have left the field, many privately held companies are still in the game, fueling the market.

The closing of some of the frontrunners in the online poker industry in the US has caused a mass exodus of players to the smaller sites. Meanwhile the poker sites that have been affected by the closure are in the primary steps of making a merger, such as Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet and Party Poker/888. These sites, some say, are merging to make a stronger presence in non-US markets.

Another website, PokerRoom.com is set to cease operations in the US in the upcoming weeks. PokerRoom has numerous skins, such as Full Contact and Alamo Poker, and these skins are looking for new software that will enable them to offer real money games to the US.

CompatiblePoker remains committed to keeping its US page updated so members of the online poker community will be informed of the latest changes in the industry.
