Colkom Incorporated Acquires Wingow's Poker

Online poker site Wingow's Poker has been bought by Colkom Incorporated, the owners of the online site Walker Poker.com in order to scale down the financial disadvantage of players. Walker Poker is under the Merge Poker network. According to the statement from Colkom, the take over of Wingow's Poker was made official on June 6th, 2008 and it involves Colkom getting all of the assets of Wingows gaming like its players database.

The players of Wingow's Poker will be slowly integrated with Walker Poker. Wingow's have been operating since 2006 on the Dobrosoft Network. By the end of 2006, Dobrosoft was sold to Digital Gaming Network (DGN); a Panama/Canadian based gaming organization. This did not work well and Dobrosoft took back the organization in 2007. This was then followed by the discovery of a questionable activity and embezzlement of cash held in escrow, which is originally deposited to ensure the funds of the players. This incident allegedly cause a lot of losses for the owners of Wingow's.

A member of the Wingow's management said that they have tried to salvage the money that was lost but the loss was too substantial to manage in a minimum amount of time. It is widely believed that Wingow's Poker lost around $500,000 when DGN managed the site, not including the losses from the rakes. The spokesperson for Wingow's commented that they have reached the point that the company is not liquid anymore.

Walker Poker will be able to help in recovering the finances of the company. Officials of Walker Poker said that they will do their best to help the company recover from the losses that they have incurred. The players of Wingow's Poker will be personally contacted by Walker Poker employees to decide on which is the best way to recover their balance in the site.
