Bronshtein Progresses at 2007 World Series of Poker

As of June 23, 2007, Bodog Player Yuval Bronshtein, is heading to the $2,000 Pot Limit Hold'em poker tournament in third place out of the 45 remaining participants in the tournament.

He qualified for the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event by joining a satellite event at Bodog's online poker site last year and participated again this year with Bodog in several events in the tournament.

He is guaranteed to take home at least $5,560, although with a large chip stack he probably hopes that he will do better than that.

It was an amazing first day at the poker tournament for the resident of Dunwoody, GA as he found himself against the circuit's best players like Shannon Elizabeth.

He also got the chance to play against 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Joe Hachem helping him build his existing chip stack.

Today should be no less challenging for Yuval Bronshtein, whose recent largest live poker tournament win was his 26th placed finish at a World Series of Poker Circuit tournament in Tunica as he faces a playing field composed of Travis Rice, TJ Cloutier and Daniel Alaei.

He is just under 40,000 in total chips behind James Henson who is in first place and about 70,000 above the average total chips.
