Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Poker Rules

Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Poker Rules are similar to the Seven Card Stud Poker Rules but for a slight difference.

The Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Poker Rules has two winners who share the pot. You have a High winner who just like regular is the person with the best hand and the Low winner who has five different cards which are all under 9.

The great thing about online poker is that when you play Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Poker it looks after all the calculations for you.

The flow of the game is exactly the same but for deciding who wins the pot.

If there is no Low winner, the High winner wins the entire pot. Straights and flushes do not disqualify an eligible Low hand so the best Low Hand is A-2-3-4-5. If there are two low winners with the same hand, they share half the low pot which in turn represents a quarter of the entire pot.

It is possible to scoop the pot and win both the High and the Low on the same hand.

Most versions of Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Poker Rules do not disqualify flushes and straights from being a low hand but some do.

Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo is not for every online poker player but for those in the online poker rooms who likes to think.
